In 2004, in the horse show in St. Petersburg, the 1st and second places were taken by stallion Samarkand (from Mamuk and Sona) and Karagach (from Gigant and Gumsara).
Stallion Samarkand (Gigant/Sona, Guelishikli line) in the winter of 2004 in a large show in St-Pitersburg got the first place.
In 2002 Stallion Samarkand (Gigant/Sona) was the 9-th among
the best stallions of the world.
